Tripartite Agreement & Cheque Handover for Retina related Diseases Treatment Support
The renewal of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nepal Eye Program Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (NEP TIO), Rotary Club of Bagmati, Kathmandu(RCBK), and Retina Support Nepal (RSN) was held today at NEP TIO. As per the MoU, RCBK will provide the sum of NPR 1,50,000 to NEP TIO for 3 consecutive years for the purpose of investigation of Retinal diseases and treatment with intravitreal injection for macular edema caused due to retinal diseases.
In the same program, Rtn. Manju Dhamala Thapa President of RCBK, Retina Support Fund's coordinator Rtn. Raj Bhai Suwal RSN's founder president Dr. Eli Pradhan, and Sri Krishna Shrestha handed over a cheque of Rs 1,50,000 and Rs 50,000 to Mr. Pitambar Adhikari, Chief Operating Officer of NEP TIO for extending support in treating retina patients. In the program, NEP TIO’s executive team, the Retina specialists, and Rotarians were also present.
नेपाल आँखा कार्यक्रम तिलगंगा आँखा प्रतिष्ठान रोटरी क्लब अफ बागमती, काठमाडौं र रेटिना सपोर्ट नेपाल बीच आज नेपाल आँखा कार्यक्रमको कार्यालयमा त्रिपक्षीयसमझदारीपत्रको नवीकरण सम्पन्न भएको छ । रेटिना रोगहरूको कारणले गर्दा हुने म्याकुलर एडेमाको लागि इन्ट्राभिट्रियल इन्जेक्सन वा रेटिना रोगहरूको अनुसन्धानको उद्देश्यका लागि रोटरी क्लब अफ बागमती, काठमाडौं ले प्रतिष्ठानलाई लगातार ३ वर्षसम्म रु.१ लाख ५० हजार प्रदान गर्नेछ।
सोही कार्यक्रममा रोटरी क्लब बागमतीकी अध्यक्ष मञ्जु धमला थापा तथा रेटिना सपोर्ट नेपालका संस्थापक अध्यक्ष डा. इली प्रधान, संयोजक राजभाई सुवाल र श्रीकृष्ण श्रेष्ठले एक लाख ५० हजार र ५० हजार रुपैयाँको चेक प्रतिष्ठानका का प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत पीताम्बर अधिकारीलाई हस्तान्तरण गर्नुभयो । कार्यक्रममा प्रतिष्ठानका कार्यकारीहरु, रेटिना विशेषज्ञहरु र रोटेरियनहरुको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।
