Tilganga Community Eye Centre, Melamchi

Tilganga Community Eye Centre, Melamchi is situated at Melamchi Municipality Ward No -11, Tar. This Community Eye Centre was established in 17th August 2017(B.S.2074/05/01) in collaboration between Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and Primary Health Center Melamchi with the support of Vision Himalaya Foundation Switzerland.

• Eye examination, Vision and Refraction
• Investigations: Intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement, Lacrimal Passage examinations.
• Medicine and Spectacles dispensing
• Extra Ocular Foreign Body Removal, Minor Surgical Procedures, Referrals

Outreach Activities
• School Eye Screening  program for school students
• Community Eye Screening program
• Basic Eye Care Training Program(School teachers,FCHVs,Health worker)
