Tej Kohil and Ruit Foundation (TKRF), and Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. (GBPL) entered into a tripartite Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agreement.
On 6th July 2023, Nepal Eye Program/Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (NEP/TIO), Tej Kohil and Ruit Foundation (TKRF), and Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. (GBPL) entered into a tripartite Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agreement.
The CSR agreement includes the expansion of the Operation Theatre (OT) at Hetuada Community Eye Hospital (HCEH) and the strengthening of the Refractive Surgery Unit (RSU) at
Nepal Eye Program,Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology in order to increase access to refractive surgeries and improve the provision of eye care services to people from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
The CSR agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer of NEP/ TIO Dr. Reeta Gurung, Country Director of TKRF Serabla Ruit, and Corporate Affairs Director Mr. Prabin Adhikari on behalf of GBPL. Executive Director Prof. Dr. Sanduk Ruit and the NEP/TIO executives, GBPL Business Head Mr. Surendra Silwal and GBPL Senior management team, and the TKRF staff members were also present in the signing ceremony.
