Nichuta Community Eye Centre (CEC)
The eye care services at Nichuta Community Eye Centre (CEC), which are under the direct observation and supervision of Nepal Eye Program, Hetauda Community Eye Hospital (NEP-CEH) and supported by Standard Chartered Bank Nepal started from 1st August 2023. On the first day free community screening program was organized in partnership with HCP Cure blindness where 225 patients were examined, and identified 25 cataract cases.
Currently, Tilganga Nichuta CEC is temporarily located at the nearest Health Post, just 100 meters away from the proposed eye center location. Once renovations are complete, the center will shift permanently to the location.
