CSR for Tilganga Community Eye Centre at Nichuta Parsa

Nepal Eye Program/Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and Standard Chartered Bank Nepal agreed to establish and operate Tilganga Community Eye Centre at Nichuta Parsa.

The bank had handover the donation of NPR 4,790,866 .00 for one year project under corporate social responsibility. The CEC will run under the direct supervision and monitoring of Hetauda community eye hospital. The CEC will provide regular eye care services as well as conduct outreach activities in Parterwa Sugauli Rural municipality and its adjoining Palikas. During the cheque handover, CEO Dr. Reeta Gurung, executive team, program/outreach team from TIO and Harsha Pillai, Head-Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM) and Neetika Verma Ghimire, Manager-Corporate Affairs (CABM) from Standard Chartered Bank Nepal were presented.
