Two-day training on Clinical Cornea Care for Ophthalmic Assistants
Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology has hosted a two-day course on "Clinical Cornea Care for Ophthalmic Assistants" with the goals of eradicating corneal blindness, giving OAs the confidence to identify and treat corneal problems, and ensuring that patients are promptly sent to corneal surgeons. 21 Ophthalmic Assistants (10 female and 11 male) have taken part in the training course funded by the J & J Foundation, Fred Hollows Foundation, Vision Himalaya, and HCP Cure Blindness. Dr. Rachana Singh Rana, Mr. Bimal Poudyal, and Ms. Shruti Wahal led the training.
