MoU between NEP,TIO and BSMMU
Today, Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology(NEP, TIO), and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Shahba, Dhaka signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The objective of an MoU is to share and exchange technical expertise, especially in eye banking, and support of sharing corneal tissue in BSMMU to combat corneal blindness in Bangladesh and beyond.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Reeta Gurung, Chief Executive Officer of NEP, TIO, and Prof Sayed Abdul Wadud, Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, BSMMU, and Prof. Dr. Md. Showkat Kabir, Chairman of the Department of Community Ophthalmology, BSMMU in the presence of Nepal Eye Bank team.
