Celebrating World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week at Khwopa Tilganga Eye Center

On the occasion of World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week, Khopa Tilganga Eye Center in collaboration with Open Eyes Nepal organised " Arclight distribution and Retinoblastoma awareness program" on 9th May in Bhaktapur. Arclight, a device used to detect white eye reflex, an early sign of Retinoblastoma was distributed to 17 participants who were also trained to use them. Dr Purnima R Sthapit and Dr Sudeep Rajbhandari gave the training in its use. The participants were school and community nurses who will use the device to detect glow in the eyes of children.
