Beltar Surgical Camp

उदयपुरको चौडण्डीगढि नगरपालिका स्थित बेलटार कोभिड अस्पतालमा पौष २२ देखी २५गतेसम्म तिलगंगा आँखा प्रतिष्ठानकि प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत डा. रिता गुरुङको नेतृत्वमा रहेको चिकित्सकिय टोलीद्वारा ३१६ जनाको मोतिबिन्दुको र आँखामा मासु पलाएको ३ जना सफल शल्यक्रिया भयो भने चौडण्डीगढि र बेलका न.पाका विभिन्न वडामै पुगी कुल २८०० व्यक्तिको आँखा परिक्षण गरिएको छ । सो क्षेत्रको व्यापक जनसंख्यामा मोतिबिन्दु भएपनि त्यसको पहिचान गर्न नसकेको, कतिपयले उपचारखर्च जुटाउन नसकेको र धैरै मानिसले अस्पताल लैजाने सहारा नपाएर दृष्टिबिहिन हुन बाध्य भएको अवस्थामा नगरपालिकाको समन्वयमा भएको आँखा शल्यक्रिया सिविरले टेवा पुर्‍ याएको स्थानियले अनुभव गरेका छन् । यस सिविरलाई भिजन हिमालय फाउन्डेसनले सहयोग गरेको हो ।
The medical team of Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology led by CEO Dr.Rita Gurung successfully operated on 316 people with cataracts and 3 people with Pterygium while a total of 2800 people were provided with eye examination in various wards of Chaudandigarhi and Belka Municipality of Udaypur District. This surgical camp has helped the general population of the area who have cataracts but were not able to identify them, many of them with financial issues to undergo treatment and some have been helpless to go blind due to lack of care support. This camp was performed in collaboration with Chaudandigadhi Municipality and supported by Vision Himalaya.
